When out with work clients and suppliers, everyone always asks to go for the best Guinness in the city centre - so I bring them here. Land lady Kay knows what she is doing with her beer, and has some great stories. Her staff are well trained, friendly and polite - they remember people’s names. Cannot speak highly enough of the place to be honest. Sport is always on, decent music, menu is limited but the pies and snacks are quality. The atmosphere has been lifted further with the recent addition of a top class pool table, which prompted this review.
We have been using this great pub for a few years now as a local when we visit Manchester. Kay and all the staff are amazing, great proper pub! Kay even put on my local derby for me on our visit last weekend! Big screen also!! Thank you!
