About
A small green space near Deansgate, this former churchyard sits between buildings near the River Irwell. The gardens are known for their cherry blossom tree, which draws attention in spring and autumn. Benches provide spots to sit, and the space is used by nearby workers for lunch breaks. Remnants of St Mary’s Church, built in the 18th century, remain part of the site. Tree carvings and views add interest to this quiet retreat from the city centre.
