It was my birthday and my friend surprised me with 3 cheese fondue, best time ever Sam was our host and he was such a charm giave us great drinks recommendation, looked after us so well!
We had Sunday lunch here recently. It wasn't absolutely perfect, but most of it was very high quality and we're looking forward to going back. + The beef was superb. Beautifully cooked and well rested. Huge sides! They're cheap so you might think they're small and order a few. They're massive. They could charge 3x or 4x as much for the cauliflower cheese. Other places do. Nice atmosphere and staff. Deserves to be busier for Sunday lunch. - Only one minor thing: our Yorkshire puddings were burnt. We were the first table in so they had plenty time to get them right. Pretty criminal. It was the beef that saved it.
Loved this place! The food was so delicious, and the atmosphere was very cozy. We came here as a group for my boyfriend and his flatmate’s birthday and I can’t thank the staff enough for helping us with the cake — especially Sam for helping us organize as well! Everyone had the loveliest time. I would absolutely come back
