Went with a friend on the 21st January 2025. Great beer, really good atmosphere. On our visit their was live music. I believe her name was Lauran O'Dowd. She was very talented with a great voice. She also played a good range of songs which only added to the very good atmosphere on a wet Wednesday in January.
Amazing Irish pub to have a proper Guinness and enjoy some live music. The decoration and the whole atmosphere is fantastic. Just one downside: it was freezing outside, and they had COLD AIR coming out from the ventilation. We asked for them to turn it off and they said no??? Would’ve been nice to take my jacket off.
Decided i would pop round to visit this well known pub as I hadn't been in before. Caught it early on Saturday for a pint as I was in Manchester/ Oldham for football. Could easily have stayed for longer but had to meet my daughter and get a bus. Friendly staff and good beer,a few interesting little sections and sport on. Will look forward to spending a bit more time on my next visit.
