This review pertains exclusively to the Odeon at Manchester Great Northern. As an avid cinema enthusiast, I found the experience here regrettably underwhelming. It's quite disappointing, especially for a brand like Odeon. The seating is poorly maintained and lacks ergonomic comfort, diminishing the overall enjoyment. Acoustic quality is inconsistent across screens, and one particular auditorium is so dimly lit mimicking those substandard home theatre projector experience. Given that the ticket prices are comparable to other cinemas, the value proposition here is simply not justified. In contrast, venues such as Odeon Trafford Centre or Vue Cinemas offer a markedly superior environment: complete with plush recliner seating and a more immersive ambience as standard. I share this feedback constructively, in the hope that it contributes to meaningful improvements at this location.
Enjoyed a movie over the weekend there. Staff very friendly and helpful. The place is clean and has a wide variety of snacks
A little outdated and creepy inside? yes! But the staff are extremely friendly and hard working. Even during events the staff go out of the way themselves to create an experience for the guest. Has an old school vibe to it which I find comforting. My favourite cinema, please please go and keep this place in business 🎦
