Customer Reviews
High-quality and rare Japanese pastries and bakes in Manchester. They offer a wide selection of baked goods, all very creative in flavour combinations and beautifully made. If, like me, you struggle to choose, just ask the staff — they give great recommendations, or you can do what I do and order several. The cream doughnuts are amazing and definitely worth trying, as it’s rare to find whipped cream–filled doughnuts in the UK instead of custard. They also have very creative flavours such as ube, pandan, coconut, and miso. The miso cream doughnut is the best filled doughnut I’ve ever had — I couldn’t help but finish the whole one myself (sorry, no sharing!). The tuna mayo triangle is also excellent, generously filled with strong tuna flavour but not too salty, perfectly balanced. Each bake is a good size, so you can easily try a few and share as a group. The interior is modern and stylish, and it’s especially nice to visit on a quieter, warmer weekday. I’ve been twice and always want to come back. The only downside is that they don’t provide plates due to the small kitchen — everything is served in paper bags, or say on a paper bag.
Nagomi Cloud Bakery is such a gem! I absolutely love this new Japanese bakery — every bake is not only beautiful but also has such a unique and delicious flavor. The staff are so warm and friendly, and it’s the perfect spot to relax over lunch with a coffee. My go-to order is the garlic cheese & butter bread paired with a matcha ube latte (so good!). For anyone with a sweet tooth, I can’t recommend enough the ube doughnut, matcha bird’s milk pan, and honey butter toast 🤤
My first Japanese Bakery experience in Manchester. They opened yesterday. We had their opening freebies! Honey butter toast and Melon Pan with Iced latte. While talking to the customer assistant, we came to know that right now the food menu can change depending on the day. Well, the honey butter toast was crunchy and had the perfect sweetness level. The softness and the subtle sweetness blend of Melon Pan made it unique. The canned ice latte was also refreshing, but we forgot to shake it before opening it. So don't forget to shake it properly before opening. The dining area is suitable for a cafe setting but I'm sure the bakery is going to be packed all the time so getting a seat can be a bit difficult in the future. Since there are lots of outdoor open spaces to sit and relax with your friends it won't be a problem. Made our day💗💗💗
