Julie the landlady @ this good old fashioned, extremely clean pub, is the icing on the cake.She goes above & beyond her title, SO friendly,bubbly, helpful & down to earth. Tho I've lived in this area 40yrs had never visited until 6wks ago. Now been few times Monday with friends for the bingo- great laugh for couple hrs,then today for a Xmas do.... Bingo, great singer & fabulous buffet provided FREE by Julie (MANY thanks) all we paid was £5 for the bingo. No wonder Julie has been landlady here 25yrs, she & the staff are lovely & smiley 😀

Being going in here for more than 35 years. Great pub, was full of great characters but time moves on and things change.Now, comfortable and warm making a great change from the original boxes and planks that we sat on !! 🤣 Did not eat so cannot comment on the food.
