Customer Reviews
Really not impressed with the way one of my friend’s was treated last night. We went in to do the Hairbrush Karaoke night with Liam Coyne, and we sat at the table nearby him. My friends and I were bantering back and forth, and the next thing I know, the Landlord has taken one of my friends outside and told her she was rude and disruptive and that we needed to leave. Liam was not the issue, he was great as always! It was the Landlord that seemed to have an issue. We were having a great night up until that point.
Dave the landlord was very rude to me tonight. First hairbrush karaoke and I had heard such good things. I was having some banter with Liam Coyne and was asked to go outside with Dave at which point he told me that I was being rude and told me I should leave. I would not go back.
Booth and I decided to walk 15 minutes out of Urmston to try this micro bar. Four real ales. Two from Beartown Brewery in Congleton plus a house session beer that we tried..it was OK. ( Beartown?) They had Bateman's XB from Lincolnshire on this visit but only came on after I ordered. Wine was disappointing as well. One room bar seats about 36 plus similar out front. One TV. Can hire out the bar. Pipped music. Needs some TLC. There is a small kitchen but no sign of food being served on this visit.
