Now running for over a decade, it features displays of prints, crafts and other creative pieces inside private houses. I attended the Green Walk Open House Arts and Crafts Weekend in Whalley Range on Saturday, 3 May 2025. This annual event, now in its 16th year, is organised by local residents who open their homes to artists and designers, providing exhibition spaces to showcase and sell their work. The event featured a diverse range of art pieces, including paintings, ceramics, glass, photography, jewellery, and more, with close to 50 artists participating. It was an excellent opportunity to support the local arts scene and acquire unique pieces for the home. The atmosphere was welcoming, and it was evident that the community takes pride in this event. The organisers did a commendable job in facilitating the event, making it a must-visit for art enthusiasts and those looking to spend a leisurely afternoon over the bank holiday weekend. I highly recommend attending the Green Walk Open House Arts and Crafts Weekend for anyone interested in local art and community events
What a fabulous idea, some amazing arts and crafts on display and the chance to look inside some beautiful homes, what kind and open minded people must live on this street. Id love to exhibit my prints here one day
