This fish market is incredible. The range of fresh fish and shellfish is beyond belief, all at very reasonable prices. I was astounded at their selection, including some fish I had never even heard of. You couldn't get any fresher than crabs blowing bubbles and clams opening to the touch. Go check this awesome place out in the Arndale Centre Market you won't be disappointed!!😀

Well, the selection of fish and seafood is great, but not everything looks fresh. I've only bought from here once, but my 'live' mussels, when I got home, smelled really bad and were nearly all dead. They had to go in the bin for safety reasons. Very disappointed.

Bought king prawns, oysters and « live mussels » this morning 11:05am. Had them in the fridge 10min later. Just got mussels out, put into a bowl of cold water to check the freshness. One third immediately floated up to the surface. That’s 1/3 of my mussels clearly « dead » and I’ll go nicely give them back in the morning:)
