Customer Reviews
A Manchester institution for a good breakfast. First time trying it which is quite mad but found myself outside one morning so why not. Had 1 Scottish breakfast and 1 regular English. All okay but you can tell they're doing volume as not all the individual items were great and seemed to have been sat for a little while. No substitutions which can leave a sour taste in the mouth but is understandable.
Visted while being a tourist for the Christmas Market based solely off the reviews and was not disappointed!! The best place we've had breakfast in Manchester with a real variety on the menu! Don't go expecting polished perfection, we did eat next to their food delivery, but the food it's self was spectacular! I had the pancakes and my partner went for the full English, both were really good quality and great size! The smoothies were to die for as well! We went at around 10.30 on a Monday and every table was full and people started waiting outside at around 11 so be mindful of the time
we came here on a monday morning and there was plenty of seating . i don’t know if i got lost in my chat but the food seemed to take less than 10 minutes to come out ! i got the shakshuka and asked for the additional lamb merguez sausages which were delicious ! i asked for no feta as i’m dairy free and staff were happy to accommodate :) the shakshuka was delicious and smoky and the eggs were perfect (buried beneath the tomato) with runny yolks (Love). i will say i anticipated some heat as is typical with shakshuka but there was none (not an issue but just of note)! the toast was great and i really appreciated a three slice moment as opposed to more shak than bread leaving me gasping for more . the bread did come unbuttered which i’m not sure was DF related or a service error but i asked for some spread and staff were happy to provide !! i was left very full afterwards . tap water is provided which i’m always grateful for and the orange juice was sweet and came with a slice of orange (i love a drink that comes with a snack) . would definitely come again !
