Moored on the Bridgewater Canal opposite Walton Park, this family-run barge serves coffee, cakes, and hot snacks. Known for its bacon barms, hot dogs, and toasted flapjacks, it also offers treats for dogs and a selection of syrups for coffee. From time to time, there are deals on items like churros donuts. The barge has become a community focal point, with a welcoming atmosphere for visitors and regulars alike. It is fully licensed, serving alcohol including Aperol Spritz, and provides facilities like toilets for convenience. Seasonal celebrations, such as Halloween and Christmas, are marked with themed events.

Whenever I've been to Walton Perk Cafe boat it has been the absolute best time! They are always so welcoming and do great food and drink. Walton Perk always go big at celebrations, especially Halloween and Christmas, I love how it all looks! The owners and staff are always so lovely too 😊
First visit today whilst walking down the canal. Bacon butty and a brew followed by a toasted coconut and dark chocolate Flapjack. Food was fantastic and the owner Bob was very hospitable. Could see he has regulars as he was out chatting to everyone. Great atmosphere and great set up. Will be visiting again.. and now following on Facebook!
We walk past most days on our dog walk and always stop by for a coffee and a treat; we can't resist the churros donuts when they are on offer! We would say they offer the best Aperol in Sale (maybe even Manchester!) and in the winter the mulled wine is delicious. Rob and Claire are so friendly and welcoming and do so much for the community. I'm so happy to have them on our doorstep. Could not recommend more highly.
