This is a cool Blank Street Coffee, located on the ground floor of The Trafford Centre, in the mall kiosk underneath the staircase next to JD Sports, in a unit previously occupied by Starbucks. I’ve visited here a few times now, and drinks are usually up to a good standard. It always seems to be really busy here, so ordering can be slow at the counter, so I prefer to order ahead via the app. The staff are friendly enough, but I feel this location is too busy for them to offer the best or friendliest service. Drinks are usually made to a good standard (I usually have to stir them though), with some of my favourites including the Iced Strawberries and Cream Latte, Iced Pistachio Latte, and the Mocha Cold Brew Latte. The seating area is comfortable for a mall kiosk but can feel cramped at times. They do often close part of the seating area a couple of hours before closing — while I get wanting to clean up to finish early, they often choose the comfortable seats to close first, even hours before the official closing time, so it doesn’t feel the most welcoming to sit inside. Pricing is reasonable and cheaper than some other places within the mall, especially for the quality. I would certainly return here, and it’s great to see Blank Street expanding across Manchester now.
Hannah (our server today) was absolutely fantastic and really professional with her service. She was working so hard and super efficient!! We loved the cookies - they even serve them warm!! The cookies and cream matcha was delicious too - I recommend stopping by if you ever come to the Trafford Centre. The staff are really friendly and the treats are delicious!
Without a doubt, this is my favourite blank street branch. I have never had a bad drink from here ever. The staff are always so nice too!
