Customer Reviews
Not a massive gym, got nice basic machines pretty much all you need. got two floors so people won't be pile up in the same place at once. Peak hour are packed (5-7pm around 120ppl) but after 9 it's nice and quiet (Less than 40ppl) bathroom are usually clean and stock with toilet paper.
I’ve been training at PureGym for a while now, and I really want to leave a special review for coach Goby and her Burn class. Her sessions have honestly become one of the highlights of my week and a big reason why I’m more consistent with my training. From the moment you walk into her class, the energy is completely different. Goby is always smiling, welcoming, and genuinely friendly, which immediately puts you at ease no matter what fitness level you’re at. She remembers people, says hello by name, and creates a really positive and inclusive atmosphere. You don’t feel judged at all – just supported and encouraged. The structure of her Burn class is great. The workouts are tough but very well designed: a good mix of cardio and strength, different stations, and a nice balance between upper body, lower body, and core. It never feels repetitive. Every week there’s something slightly different, so both your body and your mind stay engaged. Time flies in her class, even when your muscles are burning. What I appreciate most is how attentive she is to everyone. Goby always takes the time to demonstrate the exercises clearly, explain the technique, and give options for both beginners and more advanced members. If your form is off, she will gently correct you and show you how to do it better without making you feel embarrassed. You can really see that she cares about safety as well as results. Her coaching style is the perfect mix of supportive and motivating. She knows exactly when to push you a little harder and when to give you a quick “you’re doing great, keep going” that makes you want to finish the set. The music, the pace, and her energy all work together to keep you going even when you feel tired. Since joining Goby’s Burn classes, I’ve noticed improvements not only in my fitness and endurance, but also in my confidence in the gym. I feel stronger, more disciplined, and more excited about working out. Overall, I highly recommend Goby and her Burn class to anyone thinking about joining. Whether you’re just starting your fitness journey or already train regularly, you’ll definitely get a challenging, fun, and rewarding session with her. PureGym is very lucky to have a trainer like Goby.
Its fine. Location and it being 24 hour make it convenient for me but there are a few things that put me off. At night there are no attendants which would be fine but hardly anyone re-racks their weights after themselves which is an issue at night. Ive often been unable to use certain machines because some selfish people leave heavy plates on that I cant change myself which makes a lot of the machines useless. Further, the changing rooms aren't clean. For the last 3 days, the same dirty towel, the same water bottle and debris have been in the exact same spots as they were 3 days prior. And this isnt a one-off thing its just the literal most recent instance. I dread to think what the showers are like but seeing how the rest of the changing rooms are, Im not going to try and find out. So its fine. It works if you work night shifts and live locally, but it isnt winning any awards for functionality or cleanliness. At least one attendant/cleaner on the nights would make a massive difference but hey ho
