I've used this launderette on a few occasions and was just checking to see if they were open cos have a load of bedding to wash. I've read some of the reviews and they made me laugh. Seems the staff are either Angels or Devils in disguise according to who's writing. Personally I found them OK. They are working class ladies with no airs or graces, probably get asked loads of stupid questions, so maybe they can be short at times when they're doing loads of service washes, you'd think a launderette was self explanatory and people would have change before they go in. Machines all work great which I guess is the main thing
3 nice staff members, 1 really mean one. They’re not all bad. Depends what day you catch them on.
Been there twice. The first time I went I told them I'm here first time. They just showed me how the machine worked, nothing about the other services or dryer. Anyways I managed to work around. Second time I went there on a working day and asked the lady if they can keep the laundry and I could pick-up later. She acted as if I asked her something out of the world. Told me it wasn't possible for her to do today. I told her she could keep it and I could pick up next day but she said she didn't have space to even keep the bag and that I should come back in a couple of hours. Who has that much time and what's the guarantee she'd have space for a bag!! Not going there again which is a shame because I live 5 mins away and planned to come frequently.
