Been there for annual checkup so that my name is not removed from the surgery. Not the most welcoming dental practice. Receptionists could be more welcoming. Appointment was on time, it was ok. Nothing useful or that I needed. Was advised to see the hygienist but they have increased the prices. I don't know about other dental practice but 90 quids seems a lot.
On my arrival, the new receptionist, who wore braces on her teeth, didn't say, Hello, Can I help you or anything positive. She couldn't even manage a smile, although I said that it would be nice if she could smile. She asked me if I paid for my treatment, which I felt embarrassed to say No in front of other patients. Then she told me (Not asked me if I would kindly fill in my details on the ipad that she stuck in front of me). Then told me (not asked me again, to take a seat). How on earth she got this reception job, which is supposed to be good, friendly, helpful customer service, I'll never know🤔 As for my dental appointment with Roki (hope I've spelt her name correctly) and her assistant Lydia, they were very nice and helpful 👍🏻 Thank goodness 🤷🏻♀️
Really dislike the deposit policy. Fully appreciate that people miss appointment and you hold on to the deposit. But the fact that you then can’t give me a receipt to show I have paid a deposit is poor. Last year I paid a deposit for a hygienist appointment. You then cancelled due to annual leave. Seems unfair you ca cancel and I can’t!!. My appointment got pushed back and in that time the price went up by £20, just felt so unfair that you pretty much forced me into the higher price bracket and not honoured the original price. Hope it doesn’t happen with my next hygienist appt.
