This is my first and last time ordering from roots. The chicken firstly didn’t come how it looked like in the advert pictures. The chicken (all the chicken was burned/overcooked) They burnt the chicken and still thought it’s a good idea to still sell it to a customer instead of making a fresh new one. The rice was average and was only decent adding my own mayonnaise. 0 flavours and the chip was the only good thing about it. I was surprised they didn’t over salty the chips and sell that too. Would not recommend this place to anybody. Stay far away it’s a waste of money.
Was in Manchester for the weekend and wanted to grab lunch before we left. Found Roots via Just Eat and what a good call it was. Ordered the chicken and beef burger, the chicken wrap, salt and pepper box and peri wings. The chicken clearly is prepared with buttermilk because it's incredibly soft, well seasoned and perfectly cooked. The chips are nice with half skin on. Would definitely go again. 5 stars!
Amazing service and very friendly they tuck care of my friends needs and their.milkshakes are amazing . I’m sat here having it now and it’s nearly closing time; they’ve said take as long as I need.
