About
A long-standing fish and chips takeaway, this spot has been a fixture in the area for decades, known for its freshly cooked fish and consistent service. The cod and haddock, cooked to order, are local favourites, often paired with chips and peas. Portions are generous, and the batter is a highlight for many. The place tends to draw queues, especially on weekends, reflecting its reputation as a reliable choice for traditional fish and chips. From time to time, there are deals on meals, making it a regular stop for those in the area. The business has remained largely unchanged over the years, maintaining its focus on straightforward, classic fare.

Been coming here for over 20 years, fish cooked to order, Clean and always busy, I had haddock chips and peas last night, The fish was one of the best I have had from there, peas as well, must say I have had better chips from there, But still it’s always good.£11.90.
Was always a good chippy , not had many owners over the years. I detect it is open for less hours these days probably because small businesses are not getting the help that they need. So when it does open it can be busy. They handle the customers pretty quick , but I can't help but feel that Fish and Chips is now so expensive that not many shops will survive in the long run. Hard to park does not help this one , but I have never had a poor fish from here and that for me is the bench mark.
Absolutely brilliant spot for all your fried needs. This is high end stuff and you can be fryer to mouth in no time! Expect a wait, this place is far from being a secret
