It is always a delight to dine here either pre-theatre or post theatre! The recent menu upgrades have exceeded our expectations. **5 stars - Absolutely brilliant!** Just had the most fantastic lunch at Pier Eight before catching "Dear England" (seriously, bring tissues - what a show!). We'd booked for 11:45 and honestly couldn't have asked for better timing or better food. The staff here are absolutely lovely - the kind of people who make you feel like you're dining with friends rather than just grabbing a quick pre-theatre bite. Genuinely warm, professional, and clearly love what they do. Went for the 3-course set menu and every single dish was spot on. The mackerel pate was a perfect starter, the lamb was cooked beautifully, and the Swiss roll? Well, let's just say I'm still thinking about it! Add in those gorgeous views over the Quays and you've got yourself a proper winner. If you're heading to The Lowry, do yourself a favor and book a table here. The whole team has got this place running like clockwork, and it shows. We'll definitely be back!
The staff was welcoming and friendly. A good small menu but completely understand keep things basic and quick service ahead of theatre showing. The food was delicious and cooked perfectly. Full of flavours and well presented. Quick service and reasonably priced.
