A solid dining experience with some standout dishes, though a few items could be lighter on seasoning. 1️⃣BKK Diner’s Club Raw bass — 4.6/5 Very well balanced in flavour and definitely my favourite dish of the night. Highly recommend. Mango sticky rice ice lolly — 4.2/5 Love the concept and the flavour was really enjoyable. The presentation could be improved a little though, it currently looks a bit like a corndog with ketchup and mustard, which might be intentional 2️⃣Morejoy Soft shell crab — 4/5 Crispy and well fried, and it pairs nicely with the ginger scallion sauce. However, the seasoning was quite heavy towards the end. Beef short ribs — 4/5 Very tender and the garlic sauce helps reduce the oiliness. That said, the overall seasoning at Morejoy runs quite strong, which left me pretty thirsty afterwards, and the garlic aroma lingered for a while after the meal. French toast — 3.9/5 Really tasty and gives strong Hong Kong style vibes. The red bean paste and condensed milk combination made it quite sweet and slightly repetitive towards the end. Best to share between 3 to 4 people so it does not feel too heavy 3️⃣Anatra Arancini — 4/5 Generous portion with a slight kick from the chilli aioli. Great for sharing. Pesto spaghetti with confit duck yolk — 3.8/5 Nice presentation and very Instagram worthy, but flavour wise it was decent rather than memorable. It’s dog friendly!!A plus!
The best service we’ve had in ages. Excellent extra touches. Nothing was too much trouble. Didn’t know this place existed but will certainly be back. Food was top quality - taste and presentation. Wine/fizz amazing (try the Edda Chardonnay, it was outstanding). Beautiful location too. Highly recommend.
We went for a team lunch on a Wednesday and had a great atmosphere and the variety of menu options really pleased everyone - despite having some different food taste among the group… We have to say the food was 10 / 10 every single dish and we were very very pleased with how good it was and would definitely go back soon. Love the fact they have new options sometimes - so it keeps it fresh and different. Particular favourites for us were kitchens Anatra and MoreJoy, and dishes were the Short rib and the Arancini balls — plus the pasta which were all amazing! Just take a look at the pictures, wow!!
