About
A small Italian sandwich shop serving focaccia-based sandwiches with fillings like fennel salami, truffle cheese, and the Haaland (a mix of salad, cheese, and meat). The menu includes lunch deals, and tiramisu is available for dessert. The sandwiches are noted for generous fillings and slightly chewy bread. Some customers compare them to those found in Italy. The shop has gained attention for its sandwiches, with mentions of repeat visits to try more from the menu.

In a place like Manchester, where there’s so much to choose from in terms of lunch-y bits, this stood out by a mile. The quality of the ingredients used, the final product, but also the service and friendliness with which you’re being served. It’s easy to compromise on customer attention when it is busy, but not for these guys. They make sure you walk away with a smile even before you’ve took a bite of your godlike sandwich.
Really delicious sandwiches with tasty, authentic Italian fillings, by my god, the price. It’s just not justifiable to charge £15 for what is effectively ham and cheese sandwich. There was also a sneaky £1 “service fee” stuck on there, when there’s no table service and you bring the food to your table yourself. Enjoyed the sandwich, but the price gouging is wild.
This is 4.5 - the first sandwich I had was the Haaland. A good mix of salat, cheese, and meat. My wife ordered with extra meat and she absolutely loved it! My most previous sandwich was with the fennel salami. There was too much focus on the meat. I had to take some of it out to enjoy the sandwich as a whole. I had added extra elements which helped. The bread was a bit too heavy for me and it was difficult to cut. In Manchester, this is definitely one of the best sandwiches place, and I will be back for more. I might just have to ask for less meat and more of everything else to appreciate the quality here.
