A beautiful spot to sit and relax and admire the Egypt memorial and Old Fire Station. Even though it's along the main road, it's quiet and peaceful. Opposite is the Salford Museum and University of Salford, Peel Park is also just behind them so you could visit here while checking out the local views and river.
Visited on this year's remembrance Sunday this place will always be close to my heart remembering family who served and to all who lives were changed throughout history to present day. If your in the area and it's possible to visit please take some time to remember the fallen and all who served in the forces.
