About
The Freemount is a Northern Quarter bar with live music and a smoking area. Guinness and Murphy’s are poured alongside Estrella and ale. Bands play, and the space fills as the evening progresses. There’s often a queue, with bouncers managing entry. Bartenders serve frosted wine glasses for white wine. Deals on drinks run from time to time.
Customer Reviews
Jorja was absolutely incredible. We ordered two white wines and she produced two frosted/chilled wine glasses, those touches absolutely make an experience, and she was so friendly and chatty. Such an incredible bartender I adored our interaction. ✨
Every night in the Northern Quarter ends up at The Freemount. The vibes are impeccable. The live music creates an atmosphere you just give into and always have the best night. Drinks are reasonable and it never takes too long to get served. The staff add to the friendly atmosphere. Reliably busy and vibey on weeknights too
Out and about in Manchester with Albrecht. Have not been in this non real ale pub in many years but fancied a pint of Guinness. A very good choice. Albrecht had a pint of Estrella. £12.20 for the two pints. A one room pub taken back to the bare brick. A small rear outdoor area. Impressive spirit collection. Very friendly staff. The toucan murals take me back 60 years; we had metal trays with the Guinness toucans when I was a lad. ( sister still has them!) They do have live music. Pipped music was pretty damn good.
