Customer Reviews
I wanted some pizza and ordered online (being a visitor in Manchester I ordered at one near our hotel and with good reviews). Upon arrival found that it was a party place, and I had to explain myself to the door man. Allowed inside, I was able to speak to friendly but helpless staff. They didn't have any pizza boxes. After a long time they packed it in tinfoil and random cardboard pieces. They blamed me since I had not specified that I wanted takeaway at the order!? As if they suddenly would have had takeaway boxes if I had specified?? Of course the pizza was cold when I arrived back at the hotel. And it did not look anything resembling the photos. So: probably a cool place for drinks and pizza and parties. Don't go there for takeaway!
What they're selling is not what's advertised. Photos included of what we got Vs what they are claiming to sell. Popped in today to buy 2 pepperoni pizzas, at £18 each and was disappointed. The pepperoni pizzas advertised are sold as having 'pepperoni cups'- usually fairly small pepperoni slices that curl up around the edges to give a crunch while remaining tender in the middle- like the pepperoni served at Detroit Slims locally. What we got were *not*pepperoni cups, the pepperoni was VERY fatty, quite thick and gristly, please see the pics. Also there was no rocket on the pizza and as a Brucie bonus the crust was massive. The pizza didn't taste bad (apart from some of the pepperoni being gristly) but overall we were quite disappointed at what we received compared to what was advertised as we got an overall cheaper, less appealing pizza. The bar looked nice but we won't be going back for the pizza for sure. Crazy p's / Rudy's / Nells all close by are a much better shout for pizza and are cheaper!
Some of the best pizza I’ve tried!!! I started to resent a lot of the other Manchester pizza places, serving floppy, soggy neo pizza but these guys have answered my prayers with crispy, textured fluffy bases and crusts 😮💨 Having been to NYC recently and tried some of the famous NY pizza joints, this is up there with them if not better in some ways 🍕 I’ll be back ❤️🔥
