Even after paying the fine to avoid further issues, I felt the charge was completely unfair and should not have been issued in the first place. The appeals process is confusing — initially, I submitted an appeal online, but when I wanted to add more information, I was told I had to email them instead. It’s frustrating that there isn’t a simple, clear way to add additional details to an existing appeal. I understand mistakes can happen, but receiving a fine when you have proof of payment feels like poor management and can cause unnecessary stress. I hope NCP improves their system to prevent situations like this in the future, because it really shouldn’t be this complicated or stressful for someone who has already paid correctly.
