Customer Reviews
Great service from Alisha. She helped my elderly mother with a new pair of glasses, and I can’t fault her at all! Alisha discussed my mums concerns about frames braking and without being pushy she recommended an affordable insurance policy to protect her glasses whilst weighing up the alternative options for her, and providing an honest recommendation. Alisha also went into technical detail about anti glare and provided a fair comparison of specsavers vs Boots and yet again in a very classy but honest way, explained why Boots is better! I’m from a sales background, and although she “sold insurance” nothing was pushy and we both walked out knowing we had made a great decision and trusted the right person. Alisha also listened, a lost art, taking all the time my mum needed. She’s absolutely outstanding and a rare breed; how much she cares and wants to help shines though.
Intro: This represents only a single franchise, and is not a review of Boots, whos customer relations have at all times strived to do the right thing. The optician didn't bother to check if he had any appointments so didn't come in, the staff told me this. This was the only day I had off for two weeks, which they knew. First visit to Boots to give them a try. Chorlton branch. Appalling! They have contacted me and have offed me an apology. That said, I'll re-review after my scheduled appointment. Stay tuned..... So, I was offered a free appointment for the fitting of contact lenses which was priced at £50, in addition to that free contact lenses for 2 months. When I arrived for my appointment 10 minutes early. I was told I should have come in at 10:00. My appointment was at 10:30. So they couldn't carry out my appointment and I'd have to come back a third time starting the whole process again. Clearly the opinion that my time is of no value leave me feeling a little devalued. Would you trust this option with your eyes if they can't even organise appointments? So, no thank you Boots (this franchise), I just don't trust you with something as valuable as my eyes.
Boots Opticians in Chorlton are welcoming and expert in what they do. Aishu in particular was expert in her knowledge, friendly , polite and looked after me during the process of obtaining some glasses for me that were of a difficult specification. She kept coming up with new ideas to solve the issues and she had an in depth understanding of optometry - i then found out she was a qualified optician, working as the manager! thank you for all your valued help.
