Saw signs saying £5 car park - got to entrance and man in hut. I said do I pay first or? He said park and then come see mess I parked and went to pay the man. He asked if I was going to the AO arena and I said “no I’m just going into city to pick up my laptop from Apple” - he then charged me £10 for literally 1.5 hrs. Avoid - much cheaper and safer (with cameras and better lighting) car parks in the city.
Absolutely awful experience – prices changed without warning I’ve been using this private parking for a long time and normally pay £5 through their website with no issues. But today was completely different and honestly very frustrating. When I arrived, there was a man sitting in a container who told me the price was suddenly £10. The barcode for paying online had been removed, so there was no option to use the usual website. He said the higher price was because of the Christmas markets, but there were no signs anywhere showing a change in price. When I asked for a receipt, he handed me a blank piece of paper with nothing on it. It felt unprofessional and very confusing. I left feeling unsure of what I had even paid for. This experience really damaged my trust in this parking place. I hope they fix this issue and bring back clear signs, proper receipts, and consistent pricing. The guy was very unprofessional and was speaking on his phone.
It's impossible to give them 0 stars, Please avoid this shite place, they charged me 20 for few hours and when I came back to my car I saw this price . There is no phone numbers to get in touch with anyone. PLEASE AVOID THEM.
