A really lovely park! incredibly tidy, well-kept, and verdant. The serene ambiance is ideal for taking a leisurely stroll or spending time with loved ones. It was in the center of the city. Lots of food, beverages, and live music. Strongly suggested!
Went for the Christmas markets. It was great, but there were so many people you could barely move. There was barely any seating and considering the high volume of people that was quite an issue. They should probably put a cover for the rain as well as both times I've went it was raining and a lot of us were slipping. The food is good and the lines aren't too bad. Would recommend going in the morning as there's a lot less people, but the lights are much nicer at night.
It's a central spot in Manchester, good for relaxing, meeting friends, or catching buses and trams nearby. There’s plenty of open space with seating and a lively atmosphere. It can get quite busy and sometimes a bit messy, but it’s convenient and well-located in the city centre.
