DON’T RENT FROM SIXT, ESPECIALLY THIS BRANCH I’ve prepaid all rent including insurance and no deductible for LDW. Staff at branch did not explain the sales agreement and check the car with me. He just asked me to pay £60 for the deposit and let me go to the car park to pick up on my own. When I asked him when I could get the deposit back, he assured that I could get it back after returning the car. Then after one month, I still didn’t receive any refund. I asked the customer service and got reply that it would be released. Again no refund was received. Sixt suddenly changed their reply and said that the additional charge was due to some optional extras which I didn’t selected at pickup. But this time the calculation was wrong and didn’t sum up to £60. When asked again, Sixt just made another calculation which included another extra option of min excess LDW which I had prepaid already. I heard that Sixt always over charges customers and this is my first experience of being deceived in renting a car.
Great experience with Sixt. I had a great experience picking up my rental car. The process was smooth and professional, and the service was excellent. Special thanks to the branch manager, Danial, who was extremely helpful and made everything easy. Really appreciate the great customer service. Would definitely rent from Sixt again.
