The rooms are fine, clean and comfortable, essentially what you'd expect from a Hilton. The service is ok, however it took 20 mins or so to check-in, which wasn't a great start. The breakfast is self-service and fairly basic. It's a good location, within easy walking distance of the nightlife, trams etc.
Very disappointed with my stay. The overall cleanliness of the hotel was far below what I expect, especially for the price and brand. My bathroom had visible black mould, the showerhead was dirty, and the bathroom floor clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly. The carpet in the room was not clean and the bedsheets also had marks on them. On top of that, the bed itself was uncomfortable. I was shocked by the standard of the room and ended up having to clean parts of the bathroom myself. This does not feel acceptable for a hotel in this price range. The only positives were the friendly staff, the gym and the convenient location. However, cleanliness and comfort are basic requirements and these were not met. Honestly, I’ve had cleaner rooms, more comfortable beds and better breakfast at Premier Inn for a lower price. This stay did not feel up to the usual standards associated with this brand and felt overpriced for what was offered.
I am leaving today but I honestly do not feel like. I have had a great time here at this hotel. My room was really nice and very neat with all the supplies and facilities I truly needed. Very courteous hotel staff who have been very helpful and supportive. Daily breakfast have been very good and I have met Diane every day in these 3 days and she's been truly nice and helpful. I attended the CIPD Conference and the proximity to the conference venue has been great. I like walking so I did 19 minutes walk to the venue daily. I look forward to staying here again whenever I am in Manchester
