About
This car park is centrally located and known for its secure access system, which uses number plate recognition and roller shutters for entry. Payment can be made via an app, which occasionally offers discounts, though it requires activation at the start of your stay. The layout includes multiple floors with motion-activated lighting, and spaces are designed to accommodate average-sized vehicles. It’s a practical option for city centre parking, with a straightforward exit process.
Customer Reviews
Good location, more secure than most as you need a car registration to get in and the car access is blocked with roller shutters. There’s been only one operational lift for more than a year, the spaces are very tight and you get homeless people hanging around the entrance which can be tough when you’re trying to get back in.
WARNING, this parking garage has many floors. I went up and down all of them without finding a space, so I left. It took me 15 minutes to go up and down (my car is large) and in the end I got a FINE. It's not the first time I've had problems with NPC parking, but this will be the last. I will never go into one of their parking garages again.
Car park is a little unusual - in that it automatically opens the shutter when you pull up to it, has motion sensor lights which are probably energy efficient but also makes it slightly creepy in the second before it comes on, and you need your car’s registration number to unlock the door upon returning. The driving paths were decent widths and spots were medium to small but adequate as there were plenty of spots available. Similar to other Manchester car parks it is expensive, but worked well for us.
