I was running just a few minutes late due to unavoidable traffic, and instead of any understanding or flexibility, I was flatly turned away. The receptionist was unhelpful and robotic — it honestly felt like ‘computer says no.’ I completely understand the need for schedules, but a little humanity and customer service would go a long way.
I have used this surgery since I was a child. I've always found the Doctors very caring & understanding. The nurses are lovely, especially Nurse Cath - she is very knowledgeable & supportive. I feel that Amna on the reception team will always go the extra mile to help me, she has been great. Sometimes I do find it hard to make an appointment, especially short notice on the same day, but I think this is a common problem at most doctors surgeries across the country at the moment. I have been able to make them for a few weeks later if my problem isn't urgent. However, my daughter has health problems & learning disabilities and she does always get an appointment very quickly when she needs one - even on the same day, which is fantastic for both of us.
