I've been going to Wheeldon Opticians in West Didsbury for, I estimate, around 20 years. They are fantastic! I've never had a bad experience. The reception staff are friendly, kind, and efficient. Every optician I have seen has been excellent and thorough. I cannot recommend them highly enough and would not go anywhere else.
I took my 6 year old here for an eye test (I also go to this branch myself). I highly recommend, especially for children. Both the receptionist and the optometrist were so friendly and welcoming and the lady that did the eye test was so patient and lovely with my daughter and explained everything in a way she could understand. I can't fault them at all.
I took my 81yo mum to Wheeldons today for an eye test. She was treated with incredible kindness and patience by everyone there. Thanks to all of the team for making time for an oldie!
