We paid for 3 adults and a child as part of our trip, under the assumption you can have what you want as was the case in the other Airport lounge we have used . the food available was very limited as was the drinks choice they expected you to pay for basic things that in my other lounge experience was included. Not happy. (I wouldn't pay to get into a restaurant) . And then my wife went to look at duty free i had assistance with a wheel chair I was told by a member of staff that I had to move because I had kids with my, (this was after being sat there for an hour) we was in the quiet zone the kids was quiet she only asked me and there was other families with kids around us, luckily a more senior staff member approached me and told me to stay where we was and we was fine, so a big thank you to that member of staff but for the rest of the experience there i will not return ever. My advice, Just choose another lounge with more inclusive choice. So for mains there was to pasta base meals to choose from and a chillie, then pancakes with 2 toppings to choose, a bit of fruit, a jar of crisp and 2 different tiny cake muffins that was dry. Good view, nice seats but not for me sorry 😐
I went into Aspire Lounge as part of my DragonPass. The food was OK - Pasta in all shapes (Mac & Cheese, pomodoro pasta, pasta salad, rice..) Salads were predominately mayonnaise based with a lack of fresh/healthy options. Staff were attentive. I’ll likely pick the other lounge in the same floor next time to try what they have to offer. The place was generally quiet when I was in there, at 3pm on a Monday.
Definitely better than the escape lounge. The atmosphere is quiet and the service was very quick and nice. Free beer but you do have to pay for other drinks. Food was good but took a while to come. Great views of the runway and it was very clean throughout.
