One of the best Sweet and Sour Cantonese Style I have ever had. Was disappointed with the Chicken in batter as it was just chicken in Chip Shop batter and soaking in grease and the Beef Udon lacked A LOT of flavour. Service was very good and very quick. It is cash only.
The best Chinese in Carlisle with a limited fish and chip shop menu, too. Cold drinks and condiments are also available. I do hope one day they'll do duck as this is my favourite, but there's plenty to choose from in the meantime. Parking is tricky, but there's normally some on street parking in the nearby streets. It's much easier if you order in advance over the telephone. Payment is cash only. They also carry a small stock of vapes.
They make my curry extra hot and do it well... But twice I've been here and same meal.... Special curry.... 1st time.... Chicken, beef, king prawn and pork 2nd time chicken, shrimps and pork. Called to complain... And will be rectified on next visit. 👍
