Love this pub, the staff are all very friendly, courteous, well trained, professional. The food is cracking (recommend the chicken Katsu). The decor is well designed and many TVs often showing sport (and not too loud). … with a screen helpfully showing the train times (train station nearby). They also have a smart area upstairs too with pool table. They also do a brilliant quiz night, highly recommend! Keep up the great work.
Green King pub near the train station. Being a chain, has a good selection of food and drinks. Plays sport (although the sound normally not on). Well located, and has a screen inside showing train arrival times - ready for the 50 metre dash to the platforms. Staff nice and helpful. Very ok very a short stop over or drink when waiting for things. Building seems quite old
Blackpool squires gate next to the premier Inn.The food was really bad in fact I left most of mine. My partner had fish and chips the fish was nice but the chips was cold same as mine. I ordered a melted cheese and steak baguette type thing was supposed to have crispy onions on it. What I did get was a wet warm roll with onion skin some sickly cheese sauce and three small pieces of steak oh nearly forgot the extra chunk of fat on the small pieces of steak. He walked upto us with the plates and each had a tea towel on them so he was making out the plates was hot. So as he leaned over to give me my food I took it off him expecting it to be hot yep it was cold same as my partners plate. So I mentioned it and we laughed because he said the kitchen told me it was hot. Anyway we will not be eating there again take a look at the pictures and avoid the food here. It's saying Carlisle but in fact this is the one in Blackpool next to the premier Inn squires gate. No idea why that is
