About
This museum showcases meticulously crafted miniature displays spanning different time periods, featuring detailed dioramas of rooms, theatres, and everyday scenes. Visitors can examine tiny furniture and hidden details with magnifying glasses provided. The collection includes the world’s smallest teddy bear among its exhibits. Postcards of the displays are available, though photography of individual items is not permitted. The lighting enhances the intricacy of the models. A small fee is charged for entry. The museum is housed within a garden centre, with signage guiding visitors to its entrance.
Customer Reviews
I don’t often post reviews but this stop is a real gem for anyone who loves miniatures. Although the handmade work on display here is much more than just “dollshouse furniture”, if you are a dollshouse lover, you’ll love this space. It’s housed in a garden centre, on the lower ground floor with no signage. Which is a real shame, I would love to see this collection housed in a proper exhibition space as everything on display is incredibly beautiful, taking years to craft by hand, and deserves to have a proper space that lets it shine.
Didn't expect to see this only popped in for a drink. Shame it's not more know. Sorry I tuck photos before I seen the sign that said no photos but nice little vist
This was a superb museum to visit, with miniature model displays from varied time periods! The displays include rooms showing people spending engaging in activities and sitting with each other, showing theatres for the leisure part too. Miniature houses and shops are shown, as is a cute little railway display!
