I was admitted on Wednesday 4th Feb as an emergency admission. I have never had the pleasure of being treated by staff who are so wonderfully caring, professional and friendly. They are a credit to their vocation, professions and the hospital itself. If I could hug them all, I would. I cannot express by heart felt gratitude enough. The staff are what makes the hospital, not the building. Thank you all in A&E, Acute Medical Unit, Observation, ward Willow C and the Heart Clinic, For you dedication, care and humanity.
My husband took ill on holiday was taken to Lancaster infirmary treatment meant he was fitted with a catheter was told he was to get it something called a twoc in Carlisle our doctor sent word to infirmary we got a letter saying if we don't hear by 16th September to ring them we tried ringing the ueroligy dept know one ever answers it was the same 2&3 years ago when he needed treatment I don't think anyone works in the department now been told there is a 7 month waiting time for something he needs now wish he could have stayed at Lancaster. He has been treated very well in other departments only problem with ueroligy they let the infirmary down

Special thanks to Nurse Faye Sinkinson for keeping me calm and comfortable throughout, even under local anesthesia. Really grateful to the whole team for their care and kindness.
