The definition of the hard-to-say Dutch word 'gezellig': welcoming, cosy and casually hospitable. The owner is lovely and the rooms immaculate, modern and comfortable without being basic or spartan. A great place to stay.
We had a wonderful stay at this B&B in Carlisle. The rooms were comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing visit. The breakfast was absolutely delicious—fresh, generous, and a perfect start to the day. What really made our experience special was the owner, Leanne—she was incredibly helpful and welcoming, always happy to offer advice and make sure we had everything we needed. She also helped with our luggage that got lost by the airline. I highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Carlisle—you’ll be well looked after!
Beautiful place to stay at Carlisle. We parked on street and then ran inside and got an permit for the night. The room was absolutely beautiful! The breakfast was spot on and we didn't hear a peep all night! We would definitely recommend!
