A great gem of a shop. I'm so glad they managed to relocate and keep the excellently curated collection of second hand books, up for sale. I've bought many, very reasonably priced, books from here whenever we're passing through town. I highly recommend a look in.
Quirky bookshop in a container next to the Brunswick Antique centre which is also an unusual mix of stalls. Adam who owns the bookshop is very approachable and good to deal with. A good selection of second hand books as well other items such as records. Have bought and sold books there. Ideal start when visiting Penrith.
Anyone who hasn't discovered this treasure trove needs to immediately make their way to Penrith, Cumbria, and prepare to spend a lot of time, but not necessarily a lot of money in the quirkiness that is Withnail Books. Guaranteed you'll find something good.
