I’m really upset to have to remove the review I wrote yesterday and change 5 stars to 1 (although zero would have been a more appropriate option). Yesterday afternoon, after parting with £40 for an apparent ‘fix’ to my phone and a screen protector, my phone stopped working again later that evening. I went back to the shop this morning to find it locked up. Desperate to get my phone back up and running again, I went to another repair shop in Penrith. The guy opened my phone to discover no repairs/parts had been done/replaced. He was really sympathetic but told me I had been cheated out of my money and he recommended I return to Telephone Place to ask for a refund. Unfortunately, this shop is now empty 😭
Went into the shop today to get a battery replacement, got home fully charged it and the battery completely drained within an hour , I was told it was a new battery but it obviously is not as its performance is worse than my previous battery I had before it was replaced, my phone was not connected to the Internet it was sat idle so there was no reason it should have drained down to zero per cent so fast. I'm very unhappy with the service, waste of money for nothing to be sorted out. Absolutely disgusting .
Cracked my phone screen and Telephone Place repaired it immediately, only took 20 mins and on a Sunday too. Great service. Very helpful and would definitely recommend. Thank you 😃
