⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I visited Shop for the Senses while exploring the Lake District and it ended up being one of those little places that really sticks with you. From the moment you walk in, it feels calm and welcoming, almost like the shop encourages you to slow down for a minute and just enjoy being there. Everything inside feels carefully chosen rather than just stocked on shelves. There are beautiful hand-poured candles, soft handmade throws, and some really striking artwork that immediately caught my eye. You can tell a lot of the items are made by local artists and makers, which makes the shop feel very personal and connected to the area. What I loved most is that it doesn’t feel like a typical tourist shop. It genuinely celebrates the creativity and natural beauty of the Lake District. Even just browsing was enjoyable because there were so many unique things to look at, touch and smell. If you’re nearby, it’s definitely worth popping in. It’s the kind of place where you’ll probably leave with a gift for someone else… and something for yourself as well.

This is a shop that is worth visiting. We had two bespoke oak bedside tables made for us by Carys and her Father. From beginning to the end it has been a delight to order from them. Great attention to detail was taken on our initial order with sizes and delivery dates. A few weeks later, delay on our part as we were away, a large box arrived in the post with our two tables. They are perfect, beautiful wood, and exactly what we wanted to fit into a small space. We would definitely order again from them if we can think up some more projects. I will be recommending friends and family to visit. Thank you.
