About
This livestock auction house in Penrith hosts regular sales alongside occasional pottery festivals and markets. It’s known for its annual pottery event, featuring stalls from ceramic artists with work for home and garden. The venue has also served as a vaccination centre, with efficient NHS-run services. Alongside livestock auctions, there are occasional sales with a mix of goods, and staff assist with loading purchases. The pottery festival draws a range of artisans, creating a busy, sociable event.
Customer Reviews
Went for a sale, helpful staff loaded my heavy items for me
I wanted a pet sheep, but old farmer Giles said that all the cool kids were now rocking lamas in their gardens, big mistake it can spit in my eye from 40 feet! We now have to keep the windows and curtains closed as if it sees movement then bang another gob hits the window. The vicar doesn't drop by anymore after an unfortunate incident when he knocked at the back door collecting for the harvest festival, he also sings an octave higher, but still won't say exactly what happened. Anyway my advice just get a sheep.
Pottery in the pens ... superb .... some amazing Clay Artisans, great atmosphere, everyone so chatty and helpful. A great place to spend some time and can't wait for the pots in the park later in the summer
