Latested update. They are offering more varieties of meats now including chicken and beef stir fry, ready to cook as they have been marinated with some mild spices and lemon and peppers. So 4 starts now. Latest Update and things have improved so it's 3 stars now and will see how things go in the future. Update after 6 months of my original review and it's just 1 🌟 from me. The shop is still very clean but the poultry was not fresh today and I was lied to. I asked if the chicken fillets were fresh and soft and the lad said yes. When I got home we found the chicken fillets to be of 3 different colours and hard in the middle and soft on the outside. This is usually when poultry is continually frozen and defrosted ie not fresh. It's a shame because the presentation of everything is very nice but it goes back to that old saying of not everything that shines is gold. Will be looking elsewhere in future. ..... Original review below. The cleanest and best looking halal meat butchers shop I have ever come across. After the recent refurbishment the place looks amazing and the meat looks of very high quality, couldn't see any markings of bruising or injury to the cuts of meat or any bad smells that you get when you know the meat isn't fresh. The staff were helpful and friendly. Will be visiting again.
