I'm 26 years living in Penrith and have never left my car 🚗 in the Penrith Station Muilitcar park.
DO NOT PARK HERE! Use Morrison's car park for only £4.20 per day instead (via the Euro Car Parks app). If I could give the station car park zero stars I would. I had been using the car park for a number of years, duly paying the £12.50 per day. Then at the end of 2024, having left my car parked in a marked space I had used many times, I received a fine from NCP for allegedly failing to park in a marked space. Utter nonsense, and a pure money making scam on the part of NCP. I contested the fine, but NCP would not back down. And despite it apparently being an Avanti car park, Avanti couldn't have been less interested. The only silver lining is it made me discover the much cheaper parking at Morrisons via the Euro Car Parks app, and still extremely convenient for the station.
Avoid at all costs! Parker up and was just over the 20 minute threshold & was charged £12.50! £12.50 for 10 minutes!! Walking into the car park isn’t exactly safe as you can’t see cars coming out. If I ever needed to park at the station again I would NOT park here & advise people against it!
