Atkinson Builders created a home for my husband & I in 2017 and we couldn't be happier. Being involved from the beginning, we were able to adjust some of the internal layout features & really create the house of our dreams within the budget we were able. Four years in and we're still in touch with the team for our annual boiler service! The customer service has been outstanding from start to finish... We won't be moving from here any time soon but if we were to make another move, I would happily make it another Atkinson Home!
Never have we had such indifferent builders, I rang and said we needed dusk to dawn outside lights, and our sitting room walls plastered, the electrical manager came out, he emailed the quote which we accepted, then heard nothing, we waited until the New Year 2021, and emailed him, he blamed "covid" for not replying to our email!. He came out the following week and fitted two outside lights,(nothing about the plastering until I asked) This had been going on four months, the outside lights as Atkinson's knew were important as we run a rescue center and needed lights. In the end I emailed and cancelled the guy coming to look at the job for the plastering. In typical Atkinson fashion we didn't get a reply back to the email, no sorry, or can we sort this nothing, it cost them a complete house re-wire and a downstairs plastering job, but clearly that is small fry for them A very rude and ignorant company
The day to day management of our works were superb (double garage conversion and new single garage construction). The onsite supervisor consulted with us regularly, ensuring that even the smallest detail was completed as we expected and to our satisfaction. I would recommend Atkinsons without hesitation.
