They do a small cone for little kids (or little appetites) which I was extremely pleased about. The size is actually generous and about the same size as an ice cream cone was in the 1990s. I got this for myself and my smallest child. But I’d say it’s about right for all children really and I regretted getting the ‘regular’ cone for my older daughter as she managed the whole thing (I really don’t know why I’m still shocked at how huge ice creams are these days compared to ‘when we were kids’). But anyway my point wasn’t to criticise the size of the regular ice-creams, the owner is just moving with the times, everyone expects supersize now. My point was to congratulate this shop for selling a smaller sized ice cream 🙌🏼. I often eat an ice cream with a side helping of ripped offness, as I request they only make it half the size, especially for my 2 yr old (but bar bar a few kind places still charge me full price). I’m so impressed to see this option available and felt my families ice-cream needs, though meagre, were welcome here! I’d certainly return (and have photographed the shop front for the record). Thank you!

The new owners are lovely, and small world-the lady grew up not too far from me in Illinois! Ice cream was the biggest two scoops we've ever seen - the servings were huge compared to the tiny ones you get elsewhere. The price does reflect this, however. Nice to have natural ice cream with real strawberry pieces and real mint flavouring.

We tried a few of the ice cream shops looking for my little girl's favourite flavour. Some of the fancier ones don't stock bubblegum, candy floss or even mango apparently but we found it here at an unbelievable £1.75. And it definitely delivered.
