What an amazing stay we have just had at this award winning country house! |We were met by Michael with an extremely warm reception, so helpful and informative.|The hotel has beautiful well maintained grounds and is a stunning building retaining lots of original features, ample parking is available, it is very clean and comfortable. The views from our room were amazing, and the breakfast room.|After a long drive the complimentary spa was welcomed and such a bonus.|The breakfast was perfection, fresh choice of cereals, cakes, fruit and juices, followed by a cooked selection of choice.|We will definitely return and would highly recommend.
Wonderful stay with exceptional service. The family who run the B&B are lovely and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and featured high-quality toiletries (good conditioner - a rarity in hotels)! The entire property is tastefully decorated and breakfast was great, paired with gorgeous dining room views. Perfectly located just a short walk from central Keswick, this B&B is a testament to owners who clearly care about the property and their guests. Highly recommend it.
We were given a warm welcome by Michael on reception on checking in. We had booked a standard room which turned out to be on the top floor. Michael advised that the wall radiator was not functioning correctly and to use the portable radiator which was fine and heated up the room quickly. The room had a modern ensuite with lovely fluffy towels and nice toiletries. We needed to pre order breakfast and a menu was provided in the room. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff serving it really went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed it. There is plenty of parking outside and we visited the spa at Underscar twice during our stay which was welcome after being out in the rain all day. It was a 20 minute walk into the town centre and the walk back involved a steep hill. Thoroughly enjoyed our short break at this hotel and in Keswick.
