Good value private hire for a stag do where we went hiking. Drying room was not able to cope with x20 sets of v wet clothing but that was a lot to hit it all at once. Comfy beds and good supplies in the kitchen for doing a big cook. Great site for going hiking from. No WiFi or cell reception inside but landline there and nearby cafe has some.
Our stay was exactly what we had hoped for and more.||Walking and waterfalls by day and hearty meals in the evening using the well equipped kitchen, followed by different board/card games in the evening. (While the drying room helped us to keep our bast walking clothes ready for the following mornings activities).||With a choice of open water swimming in Ennerdale Water or a circular walk/run all the way round.||Cosey and warm inside, Great support from the Hostel manager. ||Thrpughly reccommended.
The hostel is located in a breathtaking view point, with lots of beautiful mountains. It was warm and welcoming and it was very convenient, as it has all the necessary facilities. Highly recommend…….
