A small brewery with an on-site taproom, this spot brews its own beers including Fox Pale Ale and serves them alongside local spirits like Lake vodka and whisky. Brewery tours cover the history and process, ending with tastings. There’s a selection of cask and keg ales, with staff happy to talk through options and provide samples. Outside seating is available when the weather allows. Takeaway beers and merchandise like T-shirts can be bought. Crisps are served as a snack. The taproom has Wi-Fi. Opening hours are limited.

Booked on the Brewery Tour. Arrived and was greeted by Nigel with a glass of Fox Pale to taste before we started the tour. Nigel told us about the history of the brewery and how the beer is made on-site. We finish with a 1/3 pint of the following served by Sarah. 1. Thirst Rescue 2. Harlequin 3. Keswick Bitter.
Went on a brewery tour at small local micro brewery. Really good to hear how it got started and the way they brew their beer. Really friendly tour guide and finished off with some nice beer to taste. Would recommend whether it is raining or sunny for a couple of hours
I always love a brewery and taproom on the same site and this one was spot on!
